The state of our coral reefs is one of the most ecologically important issues of the day. In this 1st Thursday talk, Dr. Ann Money explores the functionality of coral bio-fluorescence and how it can be utilized to restore our vitally important failing reefs, as well as her recent trip taken with biologist Amy Alexopoulos to the Gottesman Family Israel Aquarium. While there, they consulted with biologists at the Israel Aquarium, strengthened the connection with their sister aquarium, and discussed potential collaborative coral research.
