Oklahoma has the third largest number of tribes in the United States. What many Oklahomans are not aware of is the vital role that the tribes play in Oklahoma’s sustainability plan and in problem-solving environmental justice issues. The talk will cover Muscogee Creek Nation’s sustainability efforts, environmental justice in Oklahoma, and environmental justice work coordinated between the EPA and Oklahoma’s tribes.

Join Sustainable Tulsa for this informative discussion with James Williams (Muscogee Creek Nation) and Wayne Isaacs (Cherokee Nation), as well as Randy Gee from the Environmental Protection Agency. The talk will be moderated by Natural Evolution’s president, Traci Phillips.
