What is Environmental Justice? The guiding principle of environmental justice is that everyone, regardless of race, color, national origin or income (or any other marginalized community) is entitled to equal protection from environmental harms and risks.
This is the first of a series of conversations around environmental equity and social justice held by Sustainable Tulsa. Sustainable Tulsa is navigating with our community the intersection of social justice and environmental protection — environmental intersectionality. The event features filmed resources and online breakout rooms with facilitators to examine ways to make Tulsa a healthier and more resilient community for all.
